A highly regarded Chartered Accounting firm based in Brisbane is looking to appoint a Audit Associate with a clear pathway to becoming an Audit Partner. This opportunity has arisen due to the upcoming retirement of an existing Audit Partner in 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, executing, and finalising audit assignments
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Providing sound advice on corporate governance, risk management, and internal controls
• Managing client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction
• Contributing to the firm's growth strategy as a future Audit Partner

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Certified as a Registered Company Auditor (RCA) in Australia
• Proven experience in a similar auditing role
• Thorough knowledge of Australian auditing standards and regulations
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
